Any seller wants their home to win the hearts of all buyers that walk through the door. How do we do that? Here are some tips from realtor.com on how to razzle dazzle those buyers…
Your home must be warm, welcoming and inviting, so you need to appeal to all of the buyer’s senses. Finding the right temperature is the first step. Keep in mind that your home may be warmer in the summer and cooler in the winter due to the outside air. It’s recommended to try to keep the inside of your home between 68 and 72 degrees to keep it comfortable. You want them to stay inside as long as they want to give them more time to fall in love with your home.
Next, consider removing screens from your windows. This will allow more natural light to shine through. More light brightens your home and even makes it feel bigger.
Another area that you should address is the smell in your home. If you have pets, you likely have pet odor. If you have kids involved in sports, their gear can also bring in some unwanted smells. Neutralize the air and maybe then add some delightful scents that will make buyers want to stick around a little longer.
Lastly, appeal to the buyers ears by playing some light music as they are looking through your home. One suggestion would be light jazz music to energize them and get them in the mood to write an offer. After all , that is the end result you are going for, right?
